2018 DONATION TO VESTED INTEREST IN K9S, INC.

Meet Frenkie, who works out of the Siloam Springs Police Department in Arkansas

In September 2018, we told you about Vested Interest in K9s (VIK9s) and their mission to provide bullet and stab protective vests to working law enforcement dogs. We love dogs here at Team Wendy, so we donated a lifesaving vest to a working K9 through VIK9s. At the time we posted that story, we knew only that our donation would be given to a working LE dog, but we didn’t know where.

We are excited to share that we recently found out the identity of the deserving K9 who received our vest donation. Meet Frenkie, who works out of the Siloam Springs Police Department in Arkansas.



At Team Wendy, we truly do have a vested interest in protecting those who protect and serve – for those that go on two legs or four. March 13 is National K9 Veterans Day, but let’s remember our brave dog friends every day of the year!
